The ABB AF16-30-10-14 250-500V50/60HZ-DC Contactor is a versatile and reliable solution for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC. Designed primarily for managing 3-phase motors and non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, this contactor features an innovative electronic coil interface that accommodates a wide range of control voltages from 24 to 500 V 50/60 Hz or 20 to 500 V DC. This flexibility allows for seamless integration into various systems worldwide without the need for coil changes. The AF16 contactor is equipped with built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for additional surge suppressors and ensuring robust performance even in unstable networks. Its block type design includes 3 main poles and 1 built-in auxiliary contact, with options for front and side-mounted add-on auxiliary contact blocks. The contactor is capable of controlling motors up to 7.5 kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) or 10 hp / 480 V UL, and can switch power circuits up to 30 A (AC-1) or 30 A UL general use.
