The ABB PSR72-600-11 PSR Softstarter is a compact and efficient solution designed for applications requiring frequent starts and stops. With a rated operational current of 72 A and an operational voltage range of 208 to 600 V AC, this softstarter is ideal for small three-phase motors. It features a two-phase control for smooth soft start and stop, utilizing a voltage ramp to minimize mechanical stress and extend motor life. The built-in bypass reduces energy loss at full speed, enhancing overall efficiency. Easy to install, the PSR72-600-11 includes a RUN and TOR signal available from a relay output in a normally open state. The start/stop ramp and time can be easily adjusted using three front-facing potentiometers. Compatible with manual motor starters (MMS) from ABB, it offers mechanical connection kits for seamless integration. Additionally, Fieldbus communication can be enabled with an external adaptor and plug, providing flexibility for various industrial applications such as pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors.
