The ABB PSTX142-600-70 Soft Starter is engineered for optimal motor control and energy efficiency. This advanced soft starter offers a three-phase control for smooth motor start and stop, utilizing either a voltage or torque ramp. Equipped with relay outputs for RUN, TOR, and Event signals, the PSTX142-600-70 includes a variety of functions such as current limit, kickstart, analog output, EOL, motor heating, and pump cleaning. Additional features include jog, braking, stand-still brake, diagnostics, sequence start, and emergency/fire pump mode. The device is user-friendly with a detachable full graphic display rated IP66 and 4x for outdoor use. Communication with the PSTX is versatile, offering hardwire inputs for Start/Stop/Reset of faults, three programmable digital inputs, and built-in Fieldbus communication via Modbus RTU. Optional ANYBUS modules support major protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP. An external adaptor and Fieldbus plug provide further communication options.
