The Leuze AMS 308i 300 H is an optical distance sensor from the AMS 300i series, utilizing a red laser light source for precise long-range measurements from 200 to 300,000 mm with an accuracy of ±5 mm (±2 mm up to 200 m) and repeatability of 1.5 mm. It supports maximum traverse rates of 10 m/s, operates on 18-30 V DC supply (250 mA without heating, 500 mA with), and features connector-based connectivity for industrial Ethernet or fieldbus interfaces, enabling real-time data output every 2 ms. Designed for applications like stacker crane positioning, collision protection in cranes, and dynamic intralogistics tasks, it offers zero interference with optical data transceivers and a light spot diameter of ?220 mm.
