The Leuze AMS 348i 200 H is a precision optical distance sensor employing laser time-of-flight measurement for automated distance monitoring up to 200 meters. Designed for positioning control and collision protection applications, it delivers absolute measurement accuracy of ±3 mm with 2.1 mm reproducibility (3 sigma) across a 200200,000 mm measurement range. The sensor features a red laser diode (Class 2, 650690 nm), operates at up to 10 m/s traverse rate, and is supplied with 1830 V DC with integrated PROFINET-RT connectivity. Its IP65-rated metal housing, pre-mounted positioning plate, and operating temperature range of ?5 to 50 °C suit robust industrial environments including high-bay storage systems, gantry crane positioning, and automated plant component alignment.
