The Leuze AMS 355i 300 H is an optical laser distance sensor from the AMS 300i series, designed for absolute contactless measurements up to 300 m against a reflector, with ±5 mm accuracy, 1.0 mm consistency, and ?225 mm light spot diameter at maximum range. It features an integration time of 1.7 ms, adjustable resolution (0.00110 mm), RS 422/RS 232 interface, integrated heating for harsh environments, and electrical specs of 1830 VDC at ?250 mA. Typical applications include collision protection for cranes and gantry cranes, positioning of electroplating plants and skillet systems, and monitoring automated moving components, with a maximum traverse rate of 10 m/s and metal housing (diecast zinc/aluminum, 84 x 166.5 x 159 mm). Mounting includes pre-mounted plate with M5 screw alignment and knurled nut securing.
