Description
The Baumer CFAK 12N1140/L 11039124 is a liquid level sensor designed for wastewater applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 0.1 mm and is non-flush mounted. This sensor does not include a GND electrode and has a temperature drift of ±20%. It lacks sensitivity adjustment and cannot detect non-conductive media or detect fill levels through containers. It is designed for direct contact with liquids but is not suitable for object detection or bulk goods. The sensor operates with a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, consumes a maximum of 12 mA with no load, and has an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a maximum output current of 200 mA. The voltage drop is less than 2.5 VDC, and it has a switching frequency of 15 Hz. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor is cylindrical and threaded, made from POM with EPDM50 gaskets, and measures 12 mm in diameter and 39.5 mm in length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +50 °C. It is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
