Baumer CFAK 30N1200 11001678 is a non-flush, cylindrical threaded capacitive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 30 mm, adjustable from 5 to 30 mm. It features a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment, an LED yellow output indicator, and operates contactlessly. Suitable for detecting non-conductive media, it can also detect fill levels through containers and handle liquids in direct contact. The sensor supports object detection including bulk goods, operates on a 10 to 30 VDC supply, and consumes a maximum of 20 mA with no load. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a maximum output current of 200 mA and a voltage drop of less than 1.5 VDC. The switching frequency is 50 Hz, and it offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The housing is made of PBT, measures 30 mm in diameter, and is 72 mm long, with a 2-meter cable connection. It operates between -25 to +75 °C and is rated IP 67/65 for protection against dust and water.
