Baumer FFAK 17NTD1002/L 10229682 is a liquid level sensor equipped with a pulsed infrared diode light source and operates at a nominal pressure of 10 bar at the probe tip. It features a yellow LED output indicator and sensitivity can be adjusted via a 15-turn potentiometer. The sensor has a wavelength of 880 nm and makes contact with the medium for measurement. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 15 mA when unloaded and a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. The output function is normally open (NO) with an NPN output circuit and can handle an output current of up to 200 mA. It lacks short circuit protection but includes reverse polarity protection from Vs to GND. The sensor has a cylindrical design with dimensions of 30 mm in width/diameter and 81.5 mm in height/length, and a G 3/8" thread. Both the sensing device and housing are made of polysulphone. It connects via a 3-pin, 2-meter cable and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +65 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and immersion.
