
The Baumer FFDK 16P50Y5/0250 is a liquid level sensor equipped with a pulsed infrared diode light source and a red LED output indicator. It operates without sensitivity adjustment and has a wavelength of 950 nm. Designed for use with pipes or tubes with an outer diameter of 3 to 7 mm and a maximum thickness of 1 mm, it features a fast response and release time of less than 2 ms. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and consumes a maximum of 25 mA with no load. It offers a low voltage drop of less than 1 VDC and includes a switchable light/dark operate output function with a PNP output circuit. The output current capacity is 100 mA. Enhanced with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, this sensor has a compact rectangular design with dimensions of 16 mm in width, 28 mm in height, and 26 mm in depth. The housing is made from PC, and it connects via a 3-pin, 2.5 m cable. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C, it is rated at IP 50 for protection.
