Baumer FPDH 14P5101/KS34A 11096622 is a retro-reflective sensor designed for hygienic applications, featuring a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers a nominal range of 3.5 m and an actual range of 3 m, equipped with a polarization filter to reduce false readings. The sensor includes a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator. It operates without sensitivity adjustment and has mechanisms to suppress reciprocal influence. Certified by Ecolab and adapted from EHEDG, it ensures rapid response and release times of less than 1 ms. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with typical current consumption of 20 mA and a maximum of 25 mA. It features light/dark operate output functions through a PNP output circuit, supporting an output current of 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
