The Baumer FSE 025B2003 is a through-beam type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head. It features an actual range of 160 mm and is designed with a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C and has an exit angle of 60°. It is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. The dimensions of the head are 4 mm in width/diameter and 24 mm in height/length, made from aluminum. The fiber optic cable, with a length of 25 cm, is made of glass and has a cross section of 4 mm², encased in a PVC jacket. The cable has a bending radius of 12 mm when fixed and 24 mm when mobile. This sensor does not support shortening of the fiber optics, nor does it have an integrated or adaptable lens.
