Description

The Baumer FZDK 14P5101 11001230 is an intensity difference sensor with a sensing distance ranging from 5 to 600 mm. It features a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator. Sensitivity can be adjusted via a 270° potentiometer. The sensor is equipped with a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm and boasts a quick response and release time of less than 1 ms. It operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a typical current consumption of 20 mA and a maximum of 25 mA. The output function can be set to light or dark operate, and it includes a PNP output circuit with a maximum output current of 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's compact, rectangular design measures 14.8 mm in width, 43 mm in height, and 31 mm in depth, with a housing made of plastic (ASA, MABS) and a PMMA front optics. It connects via a 4-pin, 2-meter cable and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water, suitable for operating temperatures from -25 to +65 °C.
