Description
The Baumer IFBR 11N17T1/L-9 11014610 is a flush-mounted, hygienic design proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 2 to 15% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates with a switching frequency of 1 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, with a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical smooth design uses LCP for the sensing face and stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) for the housing, measuring 11 mm in diameter and 54 mm in length. It connects via a 2 m PVC cable and operates within a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C, withstanding cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is rated IP 68/69K & proTect+ for high-level protection against ingress. It meets various regulatory approvals, including Ecolab, EHEDG, and multiple FDA and EC regulations, ensuring compliance with food and hygiene standards.
