Description
The Baumer IFBR 17N37T1/S14L-9 11014603 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical smooth sensor designed for hygienic applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm with a hysteresis range of 2 to 15% of Sr. Equipped with a red LED output indicator, this sensor operates with a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC. It has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA with no load and supports an output circuit with NPN break function (NC). The voltage drop is less than 2 VDC, and it can handle an output current of 200 mA, reducing to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and LSR, with a sensing face of LCP, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. It measures 17 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length, with an M12 connector type. Operating temperatures range from -40 to +80 °C, with a higher tolerance for cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. It boasts an IP 68/69K protection class and proTect+ for enhanced durability and reliability. This sensor is compliant with multiple regulations, including Ecolab, EHEDG, and various EC and EU regulations, as well as FDA standards, making it suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications.
