Description

The Baumer IFBR 17P13T1/S14L-9 11014604 is a non-flush, hygienic design proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 12 mm and adjustable hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and is equipped with a PNP make function (NO) output circuit. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA and an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to under 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical smooth design is made from LCP for the sensing face and stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) for the housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. It supports a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +80 °C and can withstand cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly protected with an IP 68/69K rating and proTect+ sealing, making it suitable for stringent hygiene requirements in food and pharmaceutical processing. It connects via an M12 connector and meets multiple regulatory approvals, including Ecolab, EHEDG, and various FDA and EC regulations.
