The Baumer IFBR 17P37T1/L-9 11014617 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical smooth proximity sensor designed for hygienic applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. Equipped with a red LED output indicator, this sensor operates with a PNP break function (NC) output circuit and supports a switching frequency of 500 Hz. It requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA with no load. The output current is 200 mA, reducing to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and LSR, with an LCP sensing face, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. It can operate between -40 to +80 °C and withstand cleaning temperatures of 80 to +100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is IP 68/69K rated and meets proTect+ standards, ensuring high protection against ingress. It comes with a 2-meter PVC cable for connectivity. This sensor is compliant with multiple regulations, including Ecolab, EHEDG, and various EC and EU regulations, as well as FDA standards, making it suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications.
