Description
The Baumer IFRM 08N37A4/S35L 10160257 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 12 mA when no load is present. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. Enhanced with both short circuit and reverse polarity protection, it is built from durable stainless steel with a PBT sensing face. The sensor measures 8 mm in diameter and 56 mm in housing length, and it connects via an M8 connector. It can be tightened with a maximum torque of 10 Nm (Front: 7 Nm) and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. It is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
