Description
The Baumer IFRM 12N1701/S35L 10225155 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 3% and 25% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 18 mA with no load. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 3 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with both short circuit and reverse polarity protection, it is built from brass nickel-plated housing and PBT sensing face material. The sensor measures 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in housing length, and connects via an M8 connector. It can be tightened with a maximum torque of 15 Nm (Front: 10 Nm) and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. It is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
