Description
Baumer IFRM 12N3701/L 10213208 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical threaded design is made from PBT for the sensing face and brass nickel-plated for the housing, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 30.4 mm in housing length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and requires a maximum tightening torque of 15 Nm. The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection.
