Description
The Baumer IFRM 12N3701/S14L 10214928 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA with no load. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It is constructed with a PBT sensing face and a brass nickel-plated housing, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in housing length. The connection is facilitated via an M12 connector, and it has a maximum tightening torque of 15 Nm (Front: 10 Nm). The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
