The Baumer IFRM 12N3702/L 10229702 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 3% and 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor is designed for a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. Its output circuit is an NPN break function (NC) with a maximum output current of 200 mA. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It has a cylindrical threaded design with a PBT sensing face and a brass nickel-plated housing, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 40 mm in length. The connection is facilitated via a 2-meter cable. It can be tightened with a maximum torque of 15 Nm (10 Nm at the front) and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and immersion.
