Description
The Baumer IFRM 12P1701/L 10212187 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA with no load. It includes a PNP make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical threaded design is made from brass nickel-plated housing and PBT sensing face, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 30.4 mm in housing length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and requires a maximum tightening torque of 15 Nm (Front: 10 Nm). The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection.
