Description
The Baumer IFRM 18P17A3/S14L 11078655 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 3% and 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. Its output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a maximum output current of 200 mA. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and reliability. The sensing face is made of PBT, while the housing is brass nickel-plated, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and can be tightened with a maximum torque of 40 Nm. Operating temperatures range from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
