Description
The Baumer IGYX 08N17B1/S35L is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and an assured sensing distance of 1.6 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr, hysteresis of 3-20% of Sr, and a switching frequency of 3 kHz. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10-30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 15 mA when no load is present. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensing face is made of red PBT, and the housing is constructed from stainless steel. It measures 8 mm in diameter and 56 mm in length, with a connector type M8 for connections. The maximum tightening torque is 5 Nm. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
