
The Baumer IPRM 12I9506/S14 11017453 is a quasi-flush mounted inductive sensor designed for precise distance measurement with a range of 0 to 3 mm. It offers high resolution, achieving less than 0.08 µm in static conditions and less than 0.17 µm dynamically at 520 Hz, with exceptional focus at the range center of less than 0.013 µm. The sensor maintains a linearity error of ±150 µm and repeat accuracy of less than 1 µm, even with a temperature drift of ±25 µm. It operates on a voltage supply range of 15 to 30 VDC and consumes a maximum of 50 mA with no load. The output is a current signal from 0 to 20 mA, compatible with load resistances between 100 and 400 Ohm. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical threaded design measures 12 mm in diameter and 90 mm in length, with a steel housing and a ceramic sensing face.
