Description
The Baumer IR06.P06S-N40.PO1Z.7SCV 11148714 is a non-flush, cylindrical smooth proximity sensor with an enhanced distance feature from the GammaProx series. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm and operates with a temperature drift of ±10% between 0 and +60 °C, and ±15% between -25 and +75 °C. The sensor has a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr and includes a red LED output indicator. It is designed to work with various materials, providing correction factors of 100% for mild steel, 80% for stainless steel, and 50% for aluminum. The switching frequency is 400 Hz, and it requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 12 mA at no load. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 100 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
