Description
The Baumer OADR 20I6465/S14F 11040826 is a high-precision optical distance sensor designed for demanding environments. It features a measuring distance of 30 to 130 mm and a beam diameter that adjusts from 2 to 1 mm. This sensor is equipped with external adjustment capabilities and a teach-in range minimum of over 3 mm. It includes LED indicators for power status and lens soiling, and offers a resolution between 5 to 60 µm with a linearity error of ±0.015 to 0.2 mm. The sensor operates with a pulsed red laser diode at a wavelength of 650 nm and is classified as Laser class 2. It has a fast response time of less than 0.9 ms and operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 28 VDC. The output is analog, providing signals from 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 VDC, and it supports a load resistance for analog current and voltage outputs. Additional features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection, a robust stainless steel housing, and a PMMA front optics. It is designed to withstand ambient light up to 40 kLux and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +50 °C.
