Description
The Baumer OG010U.I-GW1O.7WL is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a minimum size capability of 0.4 mm and repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm. It features a fast response and release time of less than 0.05 ms and a hysteresis of less than 0.1 mm. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment over a 270° range and supports IO-Link for enhanced connectivity. It utilizes a pulsed infrared diode with a wavelength of 660 nm and includes a yellow LED light indicator. The switching frequency can be set to 10000 Hz, with options for 5000 Hz, 250 Hz, and 14000 Hz. It operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 30 mA when no load is present. The output function can switch between light and dark operation, and it features a push-pull / IO-Link output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2.8 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is protected against short circuits and reverse polarity. Its compact U-profile design measures 25 mm in width, 45 mm in length, and has a penetration depth of 16.8 mm, with a fork width of 10 mm and a depth of 10 mm. The housing is made of die-cast zinc, and it connects via an M8, 3-pin connector. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +60 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
