The Baumer OG080U.R-GW1O.7VL is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a minimum size of 0.5 mm. It features a repeat accuracy of 0.06 mm and a rapid response time of less than 0.1 ms. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment over a 270° range and utilizes a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers multiple switching frequencies including 5000 Hz (default), 1500 Hz, 250 Hz, and 8000 Hz, and operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC. The output function can switch between light and dark operation, and it includes a push-pull / IO-Link output circuit. The sensor is built with a robust stainless steel housing, offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +60 °C. It is designed with a U profile, measures 100 mm in width, 80 mm in height, and 10 mm in depth, and is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and water ingress.
