Description
The Baumer OHDM 13P6901/S35A 10162723 is a high-precision sensor with background suppression and a variable sensing distance ranging from 50 to 550 mm. It features a small beam diameter of 1 mm using a pulsed red laser diode (675 nm wavelength, laser class 2) for accurate detection. The sensor includes both green and red LED indicators for power status and sensing output, respectively. Sensing distance can be easily adjusted via a teach-in method. It operates on a 12 to 28 VDC supply, with typical current consumption at 40 mA and a maximum of 80 mA. The output function can switch between light and dark operate modes, supported by a PNP output circuit capable of handling up to 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The robust aluminum housing with a glass front is designed to fit in a compact space with dimensions of 13.4 mm in width, 48.2 mm in height, and 40 mm in depth, and it offers IP 67 protection against dust and water, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
