Description
The Baumer UNAM 18N1703 10123551 is an ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 100 to 700 mm and a far limit scanning range of 110 to 700 mm. It features a typical hysteresis of 4% Sde and a repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm. The sensor supports synchronization, has a temperature drift of less than 0.18% Sde/K, and both response and release times are under 50 ms. Operating at a sonic frequency of 240 kHz, it includes a potentiometer for adjustments and a target indication flashing for alignment aid. The output is indicated by a green LED, and it operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 30 mA. The output circuit is an NPN make function (NO) with an output current of 200 mA and a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. It also features short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
