Description
The Baumer UNAR 18U6903/S14G 10160414 is a chemically robust ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement with a scanning range of 100 to 1000 mm. It features high repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm and resolution under 0.3 mm. The sensor operates with a response and release time of less than 80 ms and minimal temperature drift. It emits at a sonic frequency of 240 kHz and includes a teach-in adjustment and target indication flashing for easier alignment. The sensor is equipped with a yellow and red LED light indicator and meets Ecolab standards for chemical resistance.
It supports a voltage supply range of 15 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 35 mA with a voltage output signal of 0 to 10 V or 10 to 0 V. The sensor offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical stainless steel housing (1.4435 V4A) with a Parylene coating and FFKM O-ring can withstand up to 6 bar pressure and is designed for durability, measuring 18 mm in width and 91.5 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +60 °C, maintaining an IP 67 protection class.
