The Baumer URAM 50N1721 10124968 is a high-performance ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement. It offers a scanning range of 0 to 3000 mm and a reflector position range of 600 to 3000 mm. The sensor features adjustable reflector ranges for both operating and limit conditions, ensuring flexibility and accuracy in various applications. With a repeat accuracy of 3 mm and temperature drift less than 0.18% Sde/K, it maintains consistent performance under varying environmental conditions. The sensor supports synchronization and is available in a multiplex version upon request. It has a quick response and release time of less than 160 ms, operates at a sonic frequency of 120 kHz, and includes a potentiometer for easy adjustment. Visual alignment is aided by a flashing target indication, and operational status is easily monitored via a green LED output indicator. The sensor is powered by a 12 to 30 VDC supply, consumes a maximum of 35 mA with no load, and features an NPN make function output with a maximum current of 200 mA. It includes protection against short circuits and reverse polarity, ensuring durability and reliability. The cylindrical, nickel-plated brass housing measures 30 mm in diameter and 95 mm in length, and it connects via a 2-meter cable. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -10 to +60 °C, the sensor is IP 67 rated, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.
