Description
The Baumer VS XC100M12X00EP is a high-performance vision sensor featuring a 1/3? CCD monochrome sensor with a resolution of 1280 960 px. It includes an integrated flash controller for direct illumination, with additional accessories available. The device operates in two modes: high-resolution with up to 12 inspections per second and high-speed mode with a reduced resolution of up to 25 inspections per second. It can handle up to 255 different jobs, with each job allowing up to 32 features. The sensor uses Baumer FEX 4.0 for advanced signal processing and has a defect image memory of 8. It supports C-mount lenses and requires a power supply of 18-30 V DC, consuming typically 5 W. Connectivity options include Ethernet for initial setup and TCP/UDP for process interfacing, along with a web interface for visualization. The sensor measures 53 mm in width, 99.5 mm in height, and 49.8 mm in depth, weighing less than 300 g without the lens or tube. The housing is made of aluminum with a PMMA cover glass. Digital inputs and outputs support various functions including trigger, job selection, and external teach-in, among others.
