The Baumer ZADM 034I220.0022 11007447 is a high-precision sensor designed for measuring the sum of all dark areas and edges within a 22 mm field size. It offers a measuring range of 0 to 200 mm and features teach-in adjustment for easy setup. The sensor is equipped with a green LED for power indication and a yellow LED for output status. It provides exceptional repeat accuracy of 0.1 mm up to 150 mm and 0.2 mm from 150 to 200 mm, with a linearity error ranging from ±1.75 mm across the full range to ±1 mm between 50 and 150 mm. Capable of recognizing objects as small as 3 mm and offering a resolution of less than 0.1 mm up to 150 mm, this sensor is ideal for precise measurements. It utilizes a pulsed infrared diode with a wavelength of 880 nm and operates at a high measuring frequency of 1100 Hz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 12 to 28 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 120 mA with no load. It features an analog output circuit with a 4 to 20 mA signal, and includes protections against short circuits and reverse polarity. The response time is less than 0.9 ms. Designed with a 34 mm wide rectangular aluminum housing and a glass front, it connects via an M8 4-pin connector and is rated IP 67 for excellent protection against dust and water ingress. Suitable for operating temperatures from 0 to +55 °C.
