Bernoulli Grippers
SMC ZNC Bernoulli grippers lift thin, fragile and mark-sensitive workpieces using compressed air rather than a vacuum seal. High-velocity airflow across the gripper face holds flat parts at 0.2 to 0.5 mm, so film, printed circuit boards, glass, paper and cloth transfer without suction marks or contamination. Body sizes from ø20 to ø80 mm deliver 5.2 to 65 N of lifting force at 0.5 MPa.
Choose aluminum, lightweight resin or stainless steel bodies with NBR or silicone stoppers, vibration suppression covers and an optional pressure sensor. The ZNC-C series adds a Coanda grip for light workpieces that blow away before pickup. Automation Distribution is an authorized SMC distributor.
