The Datasensing AD1/AN-3A8F Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M5 standard flush mount, this sensor offers a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 1.21mm. It is equipped with a 2m PUR cable for axial connections and is constructed with durable AISI303 stainless steel housing, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. This sensor is optimized for detecting standard targets of 5x5mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.29 ± 10%), aluminium (0.23 ± 10%), brass (0.31 ± 10%), and stainless steel (0.66 ± 10%). It maintains high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and it supports a switching frequency of 5kHz. The AD1/AN-3A8F features an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) function, operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. It ensures low power consumption with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and includes comprehensive protection features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, this sensor is built to withstand harsh conditions, including temperatures from -25°C to +70°C, and is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards.
