Datasensing AE1/AP-1A8F84 Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AP-1A8F84 Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. This M8 shielded sensor features a NO/PNP output type and is equipped with a 3-meter PUR cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, it ensures accurate detection of standard targets measuring 8x8mm FE360. The sensor's performance is optimized with a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). It maintains a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and it operates at a switching frequency of 5kHz. The sensor supports an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. It features a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensor is ready for use with a time delay of ? 50ms. Built with robust protection features, it includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The housing is made of durable nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, ensuring a high mechanical protection rating of IP67. The sensor is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, it is designed for easy and secure mounting with a tightening torque of 3Nm. The sensor operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
