The Datasensing AE1/AP-1F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an extremely compact M08 DC design with a robust metal housing, ensuring durability and longevity. The 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback, while the IP67 housing protection guarantees resistance against dust and water ingress. For environments requiring additional safety measures, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request.
Engineered for complete protection against electrical damages, these sensors offer both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.21mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors exhibit a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78).
The AE1/AP-1F Sensors maintain high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 5kHz, making them suitable for high-speed applications. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A.
Designed with user safety in mind, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The shielded mounting and nickel-plated brass housing ensure robust performance, while the M8 plug connection facilitates easy installation. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and compliance with CE UR and IEC 60947-5-2 standards, these sensors are built to withstand harsh industrial environments. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, the Datasensing AE1/AP-1F Sensors are a reliable choice for proximity detection needs.
