The Datasensing AE1/AP-1FDP Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M8 shielded housing, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance range of 0 to 1.21mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). Engineered for stability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 5kHz, these sensors are suitable for high-speed applications. The AE1/AP-1FDP sensors operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and include protections against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, these sensors are robust and durable. They are designed for easy installation with an M8 plug connection and come with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting. The sensors are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they are suitable for use in harsh environments with operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
