The Datasensing AE1/AP-2H Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models for category 3 are available upon request for specialized needs. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. The AE1/AP-2H Sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 2.02mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.43), aluminium (0.51), brass (0.59), and stainless steel (0.83). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are designed for proximity functions with a PNP output type and NO output function. Operating at a switching frequency of 5kHz, the sensors support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They ensure minimal leakage current (? 10?A) and a low output voltage drop (? 1.8V @200mA). The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. They are unshielded for mounting, with dimensions of M8 x 1 and a length of 60mm, and weigh 20g. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, and they come with an M12 plug connection. The sensors can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and are approved with CE UR and EMC compatibility under IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They are also resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, these sensors offer reliable mechanical protection with an IP67 rating.
