The Datasensing AE6/AP-2A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 short unshielded design, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 2.02mm, making them ideal for proximity detection. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring efficient signal processing with a switching frequency of 5kHz. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering IP67 protection against dust and water ingress. The LED status indicator provides 360° visibility, allowing for easy monitoring of the sensor's output state. With a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5%, these sensors deliver consistent performance even under varying temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The AE6/AP-2A Sensors come with a 2m PVC cable for flexible installation and are equipped with comprehensive protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. Additionally, they are compatible with a range of materials, with correction factors for copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting, these sensors are an excellent choice for applications requiring reliable and accurate proximity sensing.
