Datasensing AE6/CN-1F Sensors

The Datasensing AE6/CN-1F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in demanding environments. Featuring an M8 short shielded NC/NPN connection, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing, they ensure complete protection against electrical damages and are IP67 rated for superior resistance to dust and water ingress. The sensors are equipped with a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring and are compatible with ATEX models, category 3, upon request. Engineered for versatility, the AE6/CN-1F Sensors accommodate various materials with specific correction factors, including copper (0.29), aluminum (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). They maintain high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The sensors feature a switching frequency of 5kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. Designed for durability, these sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The M8 plug connection and PBT active head material ensure reliable performance, while the supplied M8x1 nuts facilitate easy installation. With a compact design measuring M8 x 1 / L = 40mm and weighing just 20g, the AE6/CN-1F Sensors are ideal for applications requiring a small footprint and high performance. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, they meet CE UR approvals and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, ensuring they withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
