The Datasensing AE6/CN-4A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 short case with no-flush mount, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.24mm. The sensors are equipped with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing, the AE6/CN-4A sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, boasting an IP67 protection rating against dust and water ingress. The LED status indicator provides a 360° visible output state, ensuring clear visibility of the sensor's operational status. These sensors are engineered with advanced protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, making them highly durable and reliable. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a maximum load current of 200mA and a switching frequency of 5kHz. The AE6/CN-4A sensors are compatible with various materials, offering correction factors for copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. With a repeat accuracy of less than 5% and a thermal drift of Sr under 10%, these sensors ensure consistent performance. Ideal for proximity detection, the sensors feature an NPN output type with a normally closed (NC) output function.
