The Datasensing AE6/CN-4F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature a compact M8 short body housing, making them ideal for tight spaces. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.24mm, they are perfect for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring and are housed in durable nickel-plated brass, ensuring long-lasting performance.
These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output type is NPN with a normally closed (NC) function, and they support a switching frequency of up to 5kHz.
The AE6/CN-4F Sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, and are compliant with EMC standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also shock and vibration resistant, adhering to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. The sensors come with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting and are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. Optional ATEX models for category 3 environments are available upon request.
