Datasensing AK1/A0-4A Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/A0-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 unshielded NO cable with a 2m axial connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating distance of 0 to 9.7mm. They are compatible with a standard target size of 36x36mm FE360 and have a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). Engineered for durability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors function as proximity devices with an NPN/PNP output type and an NO output function. They support a switching frequency of 150Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of 3 to 100mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and feature a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. The unshielded mounting design, with dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 50mm, ensures easy installation, while the nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material provide robust protection.
