Datasensing AK1/AN-4A86 Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AN-4A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a NO/NPN output and are equipped with a 5-meter axial cable for versatile installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 36x36mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). They maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. These sensors support a switching frequency of 300Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. Built with robust protection features, they include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head, these sensors are designed for durability and reliability. They are unshielded for easy mounting and come with a tightening torque of 25Nm. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 and withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors have dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 50mm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
