The Datasensing AK1/AP-2HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm. They are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial applications. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments. They offer excellent protection with an IP67 mechanical protection rating, making them dust-tight and water-resistant. The sensors are also approved for use in hazardous areas, with certifications including II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 and II 3D Ex tD A22. The AK1/AP-2HAN sensors feature a high switching frequency of 600Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring durability and reliability. The sensors also include a yellow LED indicator for output state, providing clear visual feedback. With a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and correction factors for various materials, these sensors offer versatile application possibilities. They are designed for easy installation with an M12 plug connection and come with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting. The sensors are capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial environments.
