The Datasensing AK1/CP-2A8R Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. This M18 unshielded sensor features a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 6.48mm. It is equipped with a 10m PVC cable for flexible installation and is constructed from durable nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT. The sensor is engineered with a PNP output type and NC output function, offering a switching frequency of 600Hz and operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc. It ensures minimal power consumption with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current capacity of ? 400mA. The sensor is protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. It features a yellow LED indicator for output state and is designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, it is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor comes with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting and is CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
